hacbrewpack-bin
The PKGBUILD downloads a prebuilt binary tarball from a personal host (darkgeem.pyrokinesis.fr) that is not the official upstream release infrastructure (github.com/The-4n/hacBrewPack). The binary is then installed directly to /usr/bin and executed with 755 permissions. While a sha256sum is provided, this only verifies integrity against the maintainer's own hosted copy — if the personal host is compromised or the maintainer is malicious, users would execute arbitrary code. The official upstream does provide Linux x86_64 binaries in GitHub releases, so there is no legitimate reason to host the binary on a personal server instead. This is a genuine supply-chain concern: an executed binary from an unofficial/personal host with no independent verification path.
