llm_review
An AI model (anthropic/claude-4.6-sonnet-20260217) reviewed this and agrees it is MEDIUM (confidence 82%): This PKGBUILD downloads a prebuilt x86_64 binary directly from telelang.org (not from the project's GitHub releases page at github.com/fancycade/tele), installs it as an executable at /usr/bin/tele. The sha256sum provides integrity checking against tampering in transit, but does not protect against the upstream host serving a malicious binary in the first place — if telelang.org is compromised or the maintainer of that domain acts maliciously, users receive and execute arbitrary code. The binary is not built from source, so there is no way to audit what is being installed. This is a classic supply-chain concern: an unofficial/personal project domain hosting a directly-executed binary. The cheaper model's MEDIUM rating is correct here.
