tonelib-easycomp-bin
The PKGBUILD downloads a prebuilt binary .deb from tonelib.net (the official vendor site for ToneLib products) and extracts/installs it directly. While tonelib.net is the legitimate upstream vendor host, installing a prebuilt binary from any external host carries inherent supply-chain risk — if the host is compromised or the URL is silently updated, arbitrary code could be executed. The sha256sum provides integrity verification against a known-good hash, which mitigates substitution attacks somewhat. The pattern (vendor-hosted prebuilt binary, checksummed, extracted and installed) is standard for *-bin AUR packages and is not unusual or suspicious. The cheaper model's MEDIUM rating is defensible but borderline — this is the normal risk profile for any binary AUR package from a vendor's own download server, not an elevated concern. Keeping MEDIUM is appropriate since it is an executed binary from an external host with no source build option.
